When the 2015 Australian Social Media in Tourism Symposium - #SoMeTAU15 - asked Visit Sunshine Coast to showcase the destination to delegates at the conference dinner, the tourism body turned to Queensland Signagure Events. The result was a quintessentially Queensland experience… a beachside dinner where delegates watched the sun set behind the Glasshouse Mountains. Iinternational-themed food stalls gave guests a taste of why the Original Eumundi Markets are so popular, while the Sunshine Coast Brewery satisfied beer drinkers. A themed beach bar, a large marquee washed in the colours of nature that provided casual seating, a high-energy fire music act and a Calypso-style steel band completed this unique event experience. SoMeThing Special for Dinner
Noosa offers many spectacular sights, but none could top a sports car being helicopter dropped onto Main Beach. That's what a couple of hundred event guests and a couple of thousand beachgoers enjoyed in mid-2015 after Peter Jones Special Events contracted Queensland Signature Events to organise the off-site event tasks for a jaw-dropping launch of the Mazda MX-5 roadster. Positioned as part of Mazda’s #lookupMX5 campaign to get us all looking around rather than just at our mobile phones, the event also incorporated a formal barefoot beach dinner in a large marquee, a choreographed sequence performed by four riders on horseback, and a fireworks display. This video gives you a front-rwo seat of the helicopter drop. Get in touch to learn more about our Noosa Beach events.
